Relevant legislation

We educate the community about, and promote legislative actions that further our mission. These include a Highland Park resolution in support of the Climate Superfund Act; and endeavors to promote the Green Amendment to the NJ Constitution, which would give NJ residents a constitutional right to pure water, clean air, a stable climate, and ecologically healthy habitats, designating the state as the trustee of public natural resources.

Outreach and community engagement

Outreach and community engagement activities include participating in local events, often setting up a table with educational information at National Night Out, HP street fairs, the Highland Park farmer’s market, and our own Earth Day.
