About Us

Sustainable Highland Park cleanup with volunteers wearing gloves and holding buckets.

Who is Sustainable Highland Park?

Sustainable Highland Park is one of more than 400 “green teams” around the state directly affiliated with Sustainable Jersey, a statewide organization that works with all levels of government to train for, implement, and sometimes fund sustainable practices and initiatives.

Sustainable Highland Park is recertified by Sustainable Jersey every 3 years based on our qualifications. We are currently at a high “silver” level which, in addition to being an accolade, provides significant grant opportunities for the Borough to further meet our sustainability goals.
